Want some freeze-dried food but don’t have the time to freeze-dry? Let’s see if Mother Earth Products are good enough for your supply.
Mother Earth Products is a company owned by the Young Family and their family friend Courtney Evans.
They focus on freeze-dried and dehydrated food because they see food, nutrition, and healthy living as exciting adventures.
Their goal is to provide you with healthy, enjoyable food, and you can take it wherever you go. Suppose you’re storing food for emergencies, want to experiment with a recipe, or crave nutritious food on the go. In that case, Mother Earth is ready for you.
Mother Earth Products offer three categories of freeze-dried food:
You can get your freeze-dried products packed in Mylar resealable bags or plastic jars. The plastic jars are transparent, so you have to think about your storage carefully.
Looking at the label, you’ll see that these are Kosher, with no additives or preservatives. All freeze dried food is non-GMO and made for camping trips or long-term storage.
The company also claims that their products offer the quickest preparation. Looking at their products, they seem like it. Almost all are at convenient slices and dices, ready for you to start cooking your favorite recipe.
You can get inspiration from the website if you can’t think of what to prepare for a family meal or special occasion. They have a dedicated recipe section, although the latest one dates back to November 2018.
The freeze-dried fruits cost you $8.59-$10.75, while the veggies go for $7.65-$9.69.
Organic freeze-dried costs $8.95-$13.95.

Slight damage to the product’s packaging may not be considered for return. The company states that some slight damages may not necessarily affect the freeze-dried product’s shelf life.
If you refuse a shipment and it comes back to Mother Earth Products, they’ll refund your order. In addition, they’ll subtract the shipping charge and the 15% restocking fee. Package should be completely unopened to go through this process.
The reviews go back to 2019, but here’s what we found on their website.
The kids love the freeze dried apples for snacks. Some added them to their oatmeal for a satisfying, quick breakfast. One even got creative and reconstituted it for their apple pie and cobbler. They’re not sliced, but they seem to fill the pies well.
This is for you if you love blueberries but hate getting a mushy one. A customer loves munching through a bag without worrying about texture. Another buyer who’s been getting freeze-dried blueberries for years says these are much better.
No reviews for the cherries other than a customer loving it for her herbal tea. As for the mango, a reviewer highly recommended this straight out of the bag or for a delicious cobbler.
If there’s one thing in common about all the reviews on the freeze-dried fruits is that they’re better than others.
Many are happy that they can use the freeze dried vegetables for their soups, stews, and even side dishes. No negative reviews about the taste and texture, especially the broccoli.
A customer got a delightful surprise with the mushrooms. When reconstituted, they’re fairly huge. It’s even better than the canned ones she tried for her recipes.
The freeze red bell pepper was able to convert a pepper hater into a pepper lover. The best thing about it is that she didn’t have to think about getting pepper oil on her hands.
Based on the reviews, Mother Earth Products delivered their promise of great meals. We’ve reviewed several brands for some time now, like Life Essentials, Wise, and Emergency Essentials. Mother Earth Products did differently when these products concentrated on shelf life and easy-to-prepare meals.
They focused on the flavor and experience of people who will cook their food. The taste of their freeze dried fruits and veggies seem to satisfy their customers. Too bad they don’t have freeze dried meats to go with their collection. But other than that, everything on Mother Earth seems to be doing great for meal lovers.
